Hello my loves,
I hope you are all well and enjoying the long weekend, if you haven't overdosed on chocolate then I am disappointed haha. Things have been so hectic here it's not even funny, I have a new job which I am really liking.
Anyway, Today I want to talk about my new favourite product.
NYX curve liquid eyeliner, now, this looks like a very weird contraption the way it curves and everything but it is an amazing thing. I love winged eyeliner, it's one of those things that's just so classic you can make it dramatic or just a slight flick. This eyeliner is actually fool proof, if I can do it then so can you. Doing eyeliner isn't my strong point, no matter how hard I try my hands get in the way when I'm sat in the mirror and because I have quite bad eyesight I need to get really close to the mirror so I can see. With a brush I can't get close enough to the mirror because I will take an eye out. With this I can sit at a comfortable enough distance and my wings look great, I'm still not amazing at it because I have a lot of practise to do, however, if you have cotton buds to clear up any mistakes it can look great.
I lean my elbow on the desk and it actually is so easy, I do short strokes and it just glides effortlessly. I don't like felt tips, I can find they drag because they sometimes stiffen up but this is so soft on the delicate eye area. The actual eyeliner liquid comes out nice and glossy and lasts, gross I know but at the weekend I went out and didn't wipe off my makeup at the end of the night and it was still intact in the morning.
I also struggle to make the wings look even but with this I seem to get them just right, maybe that's the cotton buds
NYX is an American brand so it's hard to come by over here, I saw this on a YouTube video and a blogger from the UK had reviewed it too, to buy it from the NYX UK site it was 12.99 and £4 p&p or something ridiculous like that. When I buy NYX I buy my stuff from a trusted eBay seller, she's always been really fair on shipping and I think it worked out at about £10 inc p&p shipped from the US and the shipping is super fast.
The con to this, yes there is just one, you can't see how much liquid is left so finding out when it runs out will be a bit of a pain.
When I have the money I will definitely be repurchasing a couple of them because they really are an amazing product. I can't actually find anything negative about it and you know I don't mind stating the bad points of products. I just really love it.
So, there we have it, have you tried this beauty?
Much love
