I was recently looking on twitter and saw a RT for a site called Sweet Lily Sparkles, you can view the site here. As I have mentioned before I absolutly love quirky jewellery and retro sweets and this site combines the two, I'm in my element.

I've put together a little collage of things that I really want to buy at some point.

Party dress and shoes wishlist for Christmas

Hello lovelies,

I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your weekend. I'm not majorly impressed with today but I'm sure I'll get over it. I had a really nice night last night with cuddles :-)


With the festive period around the corner there's going to be lots of nights out because for the first time in four years I'm free to go out and have a good time. But, with all the partying I'm going to need a pretty new dress and lots of new shoes lol. I have compiled a wishlist of the dresses I want. They're all pretty expensive but again, a girl can dream. 

1. Lacey black dress - I am seriously in love with this dress and I'm really into skater dresses at the moment I just think they look cute. It's quite pricey at £45 but I love lace and since I dropped a ton of weight I don't have a little black dress anymore. This dress is from ASOS.com 
2. Velvet glitter dress - You can't see from the picture here but this dress is covered in glittery bits which would be perfect for the Christmas period everyone wants a bit of sparkle on Christmas lol. This one is from TopShop.
3. With these gorgeous dresses I obviously need a new pair of shoes. This killer pair of suede heels is from ASOS.com also.
4. Polka dot dress - I really love polka dot dresses, I know that not many people would wear them over the age of five but I'm personally glad to see that polka dots have come back into fashion. I think this dress would be perfect for Christmas day. You can get this from Dorothy Perkins.
5. Black patent peeptoe shoes - I've always wanted a pair of shoes like this, they're slightly out of my price range but it's only a wishlist. I found them on ASOS.com
6. Red lacey dress - I'm also quite in love with this dress, I don't have a red dress either. I think this would also look good for Christmas. 


There we have it, I want to buy everything but I know I can't I do know that next week I am buying one of them :-)

My Christmas Wishlist

Hi Guys and Babes :-)

I hope you're all well. I am seriously cold, Winter is definitely above us and I feel like I should be wearing gloves in the house and everywhere in the world lol.

So, it's no secret that a big day is coming up, everyone keeps talking about this special day and counting down to, it's personally starting to freak me out. If you were thinking "erm what day Joy? Just tell us" then I am sure you will know that I meant That day is Christmas day. 

I don't know how many days it is but I am sure someone could comment and tell me. The guy at the bank today told me that is exactly 2months away from Boxing day,CRINGE, I almost closed my accounts and went elsewhere to save my pennies, I don't need to hear such swear words. 

I'm not a hater of Christmas I'm just not huge fan anymore. It isn't like it used to be, I don't get to come downstairs in the morning and see all of the pretty wrapping paper and know that in that massive pile of gorgeously wrapped boxes there is going to be a brand new Barbie. I guess if I asked for a brand new Barbie I would probably get one but I'm too old for that now, so why make a big deal you might ask? because that's what Christmas was for me, my mum and dad together, my Nan and Grandad coming over for the day and me and my brother hating each other but getting on just until after lunch when we would go off to our rooms and play with what we got that morning. I just don't look forward to Christmas like I used too. All I want is to be with the one that I love and have him hold me all day long, I'd gladly give up all of my gifts for the next 5 Christmases if it meant I could be there with him. 

I think maybe I have rambled on far too long now, just getting into the Christmas spirit as you will. Today's post is about what I would like for Christmas, I'm not necessarily saying "I want everything on my list" because I know I can't have everything that I want, in truth there's just two things that I want off of the list. So I'll get onto it.

 

1. Hair Extensions - I'm planning drastic changes in December, I want to see the new year in with a brand new colour and long luscious locks.

2. A plane ticket - This is the thing I want the most, I want to wake up Christmas morning to all hugs and kisses I can stand.

3. Sugarpill Makeup - I have seen so many great reviews and I have researched all of the colours that I want, they look so pigmented and long lasting, with just amazing colour payoff. I think it's important I have these in my life lol.

4. Black Cons - Last year my pink converse were an absolute life saver, we had a pretty bad winter with lows of -16 and when the buses finally let us leave the place I live there was ice all over and my converse didn't fail me. I didn't slip once it was amazing. I have pink ones and although I love them I do not feel like they're very practical looking which is why I want black ones.

5. The Wicked Witch of The West leg necklace - I saw this necklace on a site randomly and I wanted it, I love different jewellery and this is definitely different lol.

6. Animal Print killer heels - Although I could never walk in them and they would probably just end up in the bottom of my wardrobe I would love these shoes. I'm really into animal print and every girl needs a pair of platforms.

7. Ruby Red Slippers necklace - I love The Wizard of Oz and when I saw this necklace on eBay I just fell in love. I can't go wandering around the place in red shoes so having them on my necklace would be the ideal thing.

8. Babyliss Wave Envy - I am loving mermaid style waves at the moment and I've seen a few reviews on this and although it's quite pricey I think I'm going to treat myself to it for Christmas.

So that's everything. It's only a wishlist and a girl can wish all she likes. I really wish for a plane ticket, I think spending Christmas somewhere else would be great for me after this not so nice year.

A different kind of wishlist

I hope you're all doing well. As you are all aware I usually lust after makeup, shoes and pretty shiny things but I haven't been doing as much of that recently, I know, I'm going to the doctors next week to see what's going on with me. Instead I've been daydreaming about college, making my house nice and a holiday/vacation. And a few other things which are larger items which will take some time to save up for.

And here they are :-)

1. Sigma Makeup brushes 

I'm sure I'm pretty far behind on the Sigma bandwagon, in fact I think I missed the wagon and was made to wait a year for the next. But I'd quite like to try some,  MAC brushes are just expensive and I don't see the point buying them when I can buy some pretty good dupes.

2. Laptop

If you follow me on Twitter you will have seen me complain about my computer. My dad bought this one for us to share back in 2001 (10 years old, I am surprised she's still going if I am honest) it doesn't have a webcam and it doesn't have good memory and I just plain need a new one. 

3. Sigma Flare Palett

I would love this palette, it's only $35 which isn't that much in pounds but it's the postage and package that costs the most and sometimes they stick customs chargers on top. I'm sure one day I'll get it :-)

4. Pink GHD's

I know my hair is pretty straight but when left to do it's own thing it does kink and needs some sort of attention. My hairdresser used her GHDs on my hair once and the results were ahmayzing, my hair was straight and shiny for days. I want them and they're pink, so what? lol. Also (and this is probably going to get old quick) I'm going to be an Hairdresser, I need good tools!

5. Yes that is the Statue of Liberty and yes I do want to own her. Ha. No I'm just kidding of course, I want to visit NYC, I think that this is one of my main goals, I want to go there so badly. I would love to spend a week wandering around NYC and shopping, then end up in Kansas. I want to find Dorothy ;-) lol. I have my reasons for wanting to go to Kansas :-)

6. Xbox 360

Yes I added Xbox to my list, I spent so many years complaining about Xbox ruining my relationship but I LOVE playing games. There's so many games I want to play and I plan to get an Xbox at some point. I think men do not expect us girls to like games especially me, I'm so girly but I really enjoy playing computer games I find them so much fun and great escapism.

7. Sewing machin
I'm a disaster at sewing, but, I think if I have a sewing machine I could create some really cool stuff, I want to make animal print throws for my sofas and my bed.

8. Coolpix S3100 - I have had a ton of different cameras, however, I've always come back to Nikon Coolpix, the pictures come out so stunningly good. They're so lightweight and they just look so cute.

9. New glasses - My eyes have become so bad recently, I have to squint just looking in the mirror and I've been getting a crap ton of headaches, it's not good. So on my list this is the thing that I am going to get fixed the quickest.

Back to school wishlist.

I hope you're all ok.

As I've mentioned in previous posts I'm going back to college, This time next week I'll be there. I'm quite scared and anxious about it. I'm not going to go too much into because I've said it all before, but I am doing a hairdressing and an accounts. Anyhow, it's also coming up to Autumn which means I need new stuff to keep me warm, so I've stuck it all on a little wishlist for myself to remember stuff that I am going to need.

Here it is.

I know these things aren't just for college but I do need them, that's my excuse anyhoodles. 

1. Pink pocket jumper and skinny jeans - this year I am going to introduce lots of knitwear into my wardrobe, I think there is nothing better than have a huge jumper and a comfy blanket to snuggle into on a cold day, there's going to be lots of them coming. Also I haven't worn jeans in at least a decade, I do love to wear dresses but sometimes it's just so nice to wear something else.

2. Magenta double breasted coat - I love this coat, it's not just for the colour either. I've always wanted a proper grown up coat like this and I think I will be getting one.

3. Animal print scissors - I actually didn't realise you could get animal print scissors, but I spotted them on eBay one day while trying to find out how much a new pair of scissors would cost. I know some people might think they're unprofessional but pish posh, I like to introduce fun stuff into my day.

4. I'm a sucker for back to school stuff, I love getting brand new cute notepads and new pens it reminds me of actually going back to school. I'm going to say it, I miss it, I miss seeing all my school friends and swapping stories about our summers. I'd love to go back and relive it.

5. Pink train case - it doesn't have to be pink, ah ok that's a lie of course it does. I want a decent storage case, I'm going to need one for putting my kit into one place so I can get around easily.

6. Brown UGGS - I have a pair of black ones which I've had for a couple of years now and although the lining is still so cozy and warm I'd quite like another pair because they look battered. I personally love UGG boots, I think they look so good with everything from a skirt and leggings to skinny jeans and a cute top. I know they're so expensive but when you wear them as much as I do it's not so bad I guess. Lol.

My makeup wishlist

Last night the lovely Rachel from A Pretty Obsession did a blogpost about a swap we've done and linked to my blog. In the space of 1hour I had gained 3 new followers, then this morning I gained another two followers. It means so much to me and I'd like to say hello and welcome to you new lovelies, I hope you enjoy my blog and will stick around for future rambles.

Anyway enough of that. I was reading a blog post and saw this wonderful new palette, I figured it was time to do a 'Lust List' I'm not the only who lusts after makeup and does these kind of posts. Men have wishlists on gamer sites, so why can't we have a 'makeup wishlist?'

So without further ado here are they are :-)

Here they are in all of their glory:

1. I'm going to talk about the Urban Decay palette first, this is the reason for this post. I spotted it on Kandee's blog and another blog. It's their 15th Anniversary and have bought out a new palette, I'm not sure of UK release dates or prices but it looks gorgeous. They have come up new eyeshadows never before seen, this makes me want all the the more, we need some new colours to make us want to keep repurchasing from them. Maybe I could do a swap or pay someone over in America through PayPal, or I could just stop being impatient and see wen it comes out over here. One day I'll be living in America and I'll get all of the products first.
2. Illamasqua eyeliner cake - I'm a huge fan of eyeliners that stay put, our eyes water and signs of fatigue start to show at the end of the day, I love my blacktrack fluidline from MAC and I will repurchase it, it stays put but I'm always on the look out for other products to try. I've heard great things about Illamasqua but it's always been out of my price range, sometimes it's ok to splurge if you know it's going to be good stuff.
3. Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Alluvium - I'm not the biggest fan of pigments just because I'm scared of the fallout but when you see a colour as beautiful as Alluvium you just know you have to it.
4. The newest Sleek palette - I don't think it looks unique and I wish they'd bring some brand new colours, but I'm a die hard sleek fan so I may have to buy it just because. I purchased my very first seek palette in 2007 and I've loved it ever since, they weren't popular then so I feel like I've watched them grow up into a great company. I'm so proud :-)
5. Nars Orgasm blush - I've tried to stay away from Nars just because it's so expensive, why would I pay £19+ for one makeup item when I can get a ton of other pretty things? Orgasm looks really pretty.
6. Rimmel Nail Polish in Purple - I saw this in the chemist a couple of weeks ago and I fell in love. It's the perfect nail polish because it shines blue and purple, it's really vivid but I love it for that reason. Rimmel is my favourite brand for nail polishes because they're cheap and last really well (even with me the clumsiest person ever) on the nails, I've had one of their polishes that didn't chip for 3days.

Is it Lust or Love?

I hope you're all well.

I know I did one of these posts before, but I thought as it's my birthday soon maybe my mum will see (doubtful she's not so good with technology) and buy me everything I want *insert sarcastic laugh* 

I am still lusting after the things from the first post but I've moved on, there is only one thing from that list that I am really wanting. As a woman, I never stop wanting. It's ok, because I think it's healthy to want stuff and when I finally do get to buy it I'll appreciate an awful lot more.

So enough chit chat, I'm just going to get right into it :-)

1. MAC Vegas Volt - I know I keep going on about this lipstick but it's gorgeous, I really really really want it.
2. Green corsage dress from Dorothy Perkins - I went to order this dress the other day but it had 'sold out' off of the site.. I ordered it in purple instead because I loved it in purple too. But was actually really rather upset with the fact they didn't have it and then when I looked back today they did. I feel like I should write an angry letter to someone to register my disgust lol.
3. Leopard print shoes from Dotty Ps - I'm really obsessed with Dorothy Perkins at the moment, I'm also so in love with animal print. I didn't think I ever would be but my cousin wears nothing but animal print so it was inevitable I'd turn towards animal too lol.
4. Coral Dress from Dotty Ps - It looks gorgeous and I just plain want it because it's pinkish lol
5. MAC Macroviolet Fluidline - I am still after this eyeliner, I keep looking at swatches on google and I love it.
6. Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in Delinquent - It's a gorgeous shade of purple and I'm in love with purple :-)

Hi beauties :-) I hope you're all ok.

I've been seeing a lot of these posts where people talk about the stuff they lusting after weather it be shoes, makeup, clothes, you know the list goes on.

So I got to thinking I'd do one. I'm lusting after so much right now and it's bad I need to stop because some of it isn't cheap. But anyhoodles, I'll show you the things I want, and list why I'm wanting them so badly. Then you can tell me what you're frothing at the mouth over :-)

Sleek Palette - I am obsessed with Sleek Makeup, it's one thing us brits do well. However, I've not been so bothered about the last couple of palettes. But I've seen a couple of up and coming palettes from google and peoples blogs and I am wanted them :-)

Dior Rose Diamond - I saw it in a YouTube video and I fell in love with it, so I went to have a look on the Debenhams I took one look at the price and closed the page, It's gorgeous but I really don't think I could live with spending £30 on one makeup related thing even if it is seriously gorgeous. But what the hell, I am allowed to lust over it aren't I?

MAC Vegas Volt - I will NOT  be lusting over his lovely anymore because I am buying it me and the lovely AllThingsRachy have sharing the love for it and I think even though it's orange I really need it.

The forever 21 shoes - I can't explain these, it's summer and I'm really into floral print right now.

MAC Concealer - I've been sleeping so bad recently and my under eye circles have been getting worse and worse, so I'm in need of something seriously good to get them sorted and I've heard a ton of hype about this concealer.

Wet N Wild Blue had me at hello - I've got the other two palettes and I over looked this one, but in a makeup tutorial I watched the lady used it and it looked sooo pretty so I'm going to have to try and get it from eBay.

OK so I forgot another lust which I can't get until June

GlossyBox Uk -This is what I want the most, £10 for all this stuff and it's highend too I've always wanted to try Nars :-)
