Yay, I've just received the 'Tell me about yourself award' see who I awarded :-)

Hello you gorgeous bunch of gorgeous people.

Yesterday was a bit of a blah day, but that all changed when the lovely Cas gave me this new award, I feel so honoured to be receiving all of these awards and I would love to give Cas a bottle of Jacques and a HUGE thank you for passing this on to me I'll wear each and every award with pride :-).

 7 random things about Joy :-)

• I like to tweet, I do it a lot and I love meeting new people.
• I love Zombies, hey it said "random facts" and I do, I love zombie games, TV shows and movies. The zombie apocalypse is going to happen at some point the sooner we all accept it the better. Lol.
• I love tomato ketchup, I get through so much of the stuff and I have it on pretty much EVERYTHING.
• I'm IN LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE.....
• I trust too easily, one of my motto's is "let people in, they could prove you wrong and be a good friend" 
• I live on my own in a three bedroom house and I have so much stuff and still so little space. 
• My fav book genre is chick lit. I love to read about love and I love the whole "will they, won't they?" I love to see the underdog get the girl. My fav authors are, Sophie KInsella, Jill Mansell, Lisa Jewell and Dorothy Koomson.

The Best Blog award :-)

Hello my loves.

The other night was a particularly bad night and it just seemed like it wouldn't ever end. But yesterday was  much better, I've gained 2 new subscribers and I am super happy about that. Also the lovely Cas awarded me with the "Best Blog " award and I am so grateful to receive this. If you don't follow Cas then what are you doing with your life? lol. She's such a lovely person and I love talking to her :-)

I decided that because this award is such a huge honour, especially as I'm still new to blogging I wanted this on my blog. I'm beyond grateful at the reception people have given me and my blog, everyone has just been super nice. Anyway I'll move onto the actual post before I burst into song. Lol.

The Questions

1) What is your favourite colour?

I am really loving Magenta at the moment, well actually, I'm quite obsessed lol.

2) What is your favourite song?

My favourite song at the moment is Beyonce "Sweet Dreams"

3) What is your favourite dessert?

Cupcakes, or a hot fudge sundae :-)

4) What's annoying you at the moment?

A couple of people, I do not wish to think about them anymore.

5) When you're upset you . . .

I try to have a good cry to get it all out of my system and I put 80s music on and dance around like someone not right.

6) Black or White?

Hmm, after careful consideration I am going to go with Black, it's slimming lol.

7) What is your biggest fear?

I'm not sure I would like to share this is I am honest.

8) Best feature?

My eyes, everyone comments on them, I have to say I do have gorgeous eyes :-)

9) Everyday attitude

Treat people as you wish to be treated, always smile at people because a frown uses more muscles. Just try and be the best I can, if people don't like you they're the ones who are missing out.

10) Guilty Pleasure?

80s music, I could listen to it everyday for the rest of my life.

7 random facts about moi

1. I love the Hard Rock Cafe

2. I am obsessed with getting pierced!!

3. I make the most amazing tuna pasta :-)

4. I LOVE horror movies, If a horror movie scares me and leaves me with nightmares then it has done it's job, if it doesn't I am not going to be impressed.

5. I love red, yellow and orange peppers, but I hate green peppers, I like green peppers cooked but I cannot stand the others cooked

6. I love nothing better than sitting and picking apart movies, if I spot a continuity error I will bellow at the top of my lungs about it, it pisses me off. If you are going to spend millions of dollars you should probably get it right or you'll have this continuity freak on your back. My ideal job would actually be getting paid to spot continuity errors haha.

7. I have been to Australia, Canada and Florida and I plan one day to see the world.

Yesterday I was nominated for the "Sunshine award" by the lovely and gorgeous Vicky she's such a nice girl and this means so much to me so thanks babe :-)

1) Favourite Colour ~ Pink
 
2) Favourite animal ~ Hippopotamus, Ok I am quite aware they're dangerous and I wouldn't ever actually own one but I love them. My obsession started when I was a child reading "Spot the dog" books it had a Hippo called Helen and she was a ballet dancer with a cute pink tutu. My dad got me a hippo and a pink tutu from the Build a bear workshop and called her Helen lol. If you ever go to the zoo with me and lose me you'll find me around the hippos lol I'm just so fascinated by them.
 
3) Favourite number ~ 3. I have no idea why.

4) What perfume am I using right now? ~ I'm not, I don't have a sense of smell so I need someone to help me pick them out and I only trust certain people lol.

5) Something you always wear that identifies you ~ Hmm, this is actually quite tough, ok, my bangle. It clanks against the desk when I am working, it's a sure fire way to annoy work colleagues lol.
 
6) What's your passion ~ Music, Make-up, Beauty, movies and Blogging :)

7) What was the last eyeshadow that you used? ~ I was trying to do some colour-blocking eyeshadows and I used the bright pink one from my Monaco palette

8) Favourite day of the week ~ Wednesday or Sunday, because I get to talk to the boy all day :-)

9) Are your nails painted right now? No, the polish was so chipped that I had to remove it.

Hi Ladies,

Tuesday was the eve of my birthday, while playing around on twitter trying so hard to not open my presents, I saw a Tweet from the lovely Rachel from All Things Rachy we met a couple of months ago through my Blog sale. We started talking and realised we have a few things in common - Hard Rock Cafe, Makeup and snakebite :-) she had given me an award and it so lovely of her to award me it.

I'm so touched by all the love and attention my blog is getting recently, it means so much to me. Thank you, you girls are my inspiration :-) I always thought my blog wouldn't take off, just because my style of writing isn't as formal as it should be, but it has and I'm so grateful for each and every hit my blog gets. It's my favourite hobby and I'm glad I've taken off.

Anyway enough of the chat (I don't know if I am doing this right but I hope I am), I believe you write seven random facts about yourself and then mention 7 blogs I want to plug.

So here are the facts.

1. My name is Joy and I have an obsession with pink. It isn't just because it's a girly colour and I'm possibly too girly I just like it. You can add a lovely pop of it and I feel girly for the day.
2. I love cupcakes, I'd eat them everyday if it was possible 
3. I really want to go travelling, I intend to leave England sometime soon and settle down somewhere abroad with my love :-)
4. I'm planning to go to back to college and study hairdressing and beauty.
5. I'm an ex media student, if you sit and start talking about movies to me, be warned I will talk you to death lol.
6. I love playing video games, I really do not mind trying any sort of game. I may not always win but who cares I have fun doing so :-) I like shooting zombies the best.
7. I love twitter, I've met so many awesome people on there. You guys know who you are, and I'd like to say thank you for being there for me
